How to Apply for a Versiti Leadership Cord

 

Students who earn (6) six credits through the service opportunities below will earn their Leadership Cord through:

Donating blood (deferrals included)

  • Whole blood donation = 1 credit
  • Double red donation = 2 credits
  • Summer donation (Jun - Aug) = 2 credits

AND/OR:

Completing Versiti service hours

  • 2 service hours* = 1 credit

* See your Versiti Account Representative or Blood Drive Coordinator for service opportunities.

Leadership Cord requests must be submitted no later than April 1st**.

**Scheduled blood donations and planned volunteer hours between April 2nd and the last of classes (per your school's published calendar) may be included in submissions on or before April 1st, to ensure timely delivery of Versiti Leadership Cords and certificates for graduation ceremonies.

Leadership cord requests are for graduating high school seniors ONLY. If you are a junior, please request your cord next school year.


Please list the post-secondary school you are planning on attending. This can include universities, trade schools, junior colleges, or technical schools. If you are not planning on attending post-secondary education you can leave that field blank.

Please indicate how many credits you have earned and describe your completed service activities.
